Just watched this for the first time.

I’m 44 years old and have only just watched this for the first time.

It was good, I really enjoyed it. I would not have even known about it had it not popped up on one of my regular visits to this site so thank you for that.

I found it all really interesting, I love anything like this, anything with a sense of mystery.

To think those encounters actually happened, it’s pretty amazing isn’t it. Especially the attacks on the folks in the house at the end, shocking. The creature seemed to became more and more brazen as time went on.

I know it has been nearly 50 years since this film was released but, does anyone know - are encounters still happening today? Has the creature been seen at all recently?

Like I said I enjoyed it and I can definitely see how scary this film must’ve been, particularly to young kids, back in the day.

My best friend in elementary school, we went to his grandparents one Friday night, out in the middle of nowhere in the woods. My friend's uncle was one of those types who never moved out, and he had a huge VHS collection. He showed us this, and it blew our 10 year old minds. It seemed so real. I've only seen it once but I've never forgotten it.
