Despite the historical inaccuracies this feels authentic
Who cares about the historical flubs in a rich piece of cinema like this?
This is a wonderfully moody flick that looks, feels and even tastes like you're there.
It's certainly 100 times better than LONG RIDERS which is nothing more than footnotes of the James/younger gang jumbled together to make a flimsy narrative.
Yeah it has a fantastic shootout at its climax but that's it.
