"I spoke to Barzini"

I actually got to use this quote (or close enough) in real life. My regular doctor referred me to a specialist named Dr. Bazzini. So when I called my regular doctor to discuss what happened at the visit I said "I spoke to Bazzini . . . "

That's funny -- but speaking of that line -- I always thought it sounded overly 'overdubbed' when watching the movie. I wonder if he flubbed the line and they decided to use the take and add the audio in afterwards.

there is much debate about that on the boards. I think it is overdubbed.

Hilarious, but imagine the confusion on your doctor's face if you continued with "I can make the deal with him and STILL keep my hotel!"

The line is “I talked to Barzini,” not “spoke”.

reply

You are correct. Now I have to talk to Bazzini again so I can tell my doctor again.
