Mary-Ellen is so annoying!
She's cute but my god so annoying. She is always whining and throwing childish tanturms. Erin is much nicer.
I couldn't really stand Mary Ellen either. The only time I liked her was when she stood up for herself about that whole quilt thing. Nobody respected her feelings. She wasn't ready to grow up. That's what I hate about these backwoods old fashioned families. Always trying to force their daughter's to find a husband when their old enough. Like in little house on the prairie when Mrs. Oleson got that restaurant so Nellie could find a husband. She didn't even want it and yet she was forced to cook.
sharenobody forced mary Ellen to do anything that i can remember. She mostly did her own thing, dressing in dungarees, playing baseball etc. Then she became a student nurse - it was her idea to get married
shareShe was worse in the show early on but she was still obnoxious in the later episodes when she just became obsessed with John Curtis. I swear she said "John Curtis" twenty times every episode.
