Which is your favorite friend?

Bubba, Grady, or Melvin (only from season 1)?

Rolo or Julio?

I liked Julio better.

reply

Hard choice between Grady and Melvin. Melvin wasn't fleshed out enough so Grady. I liked Julio but Rollo I would hang with. Even today. That's CLASSIC cool! lol

He is risen!

reply

I like Grady.

they're all great, but i wish melvin had been in more episodes; he's my favorite by a slight margin for season 1.

julio or rollo - that's another tough call; julio by a hair

reply

More love for Melvin from me. He was the perfect friend in Season One, and he took the jokes as well as he delivered them. Grady is an easy choice for my favorite friend, followed by Julio and trailed closely by Rollo. To this show's credit, it didn't have any weak friends, though I wish more of Lamont's dates had been in more than one episode. ;-)

Bubba and Rollo

I don't know if he was really considered a friend, but I always got a kick out of Woody, Esther's husband. Sometimes he was sober, but most of the time he was either drunk or close to being drunk and Raymond Allen, the actor who played Woody just seemed like a funny guy. Too bad they didn't have more of him on the show.

reply

Definitely, Grady!

It's gotta be Grady. Good goobly goop!

reply

Rollo and Leroy. I wish they shown more of Leroy and Skillet those two were the funniest.

Where is Buckey and what has he had-Dolemite

reply

Bubba and Rollo. Especially Bubba in the beginning!

"I Want My Daddy's Records"

"Fred you got on one of those Superman Suites" and Fred and saying "Superfly Bubba, Superfly" get's me everytime!

reply

I liked the whole group of friends Fred hung out with, like the ones that came to the house the time Grady was getting Fast Fanny of whatever her name was to come over after work

Channel Six News, they'll finger anything with a pulse!

reply

Rollo to me is one of the funniest characters I've ever seen in sit-coms! He's up there with Eddie Haskell,Herman Munster, all of the Phil Hartman guys on The Simpsons and Ted Baxter to name a few of my favorites.

Leroy & Skillet!!!

I love Rollo!!! Cooler than a room fulla fans...

No Roger, no Rerun, no rent
