I swear I just saw a preview of an upcoming film with a similar base plot. The remaining plants from earth are being grown on a station in orbit around earth. Has anyone else seen this preview and what is the name of the film?

Does the scope of the title relate to the idea of living in space? The scope of the film and plot have a deeper meaning with the story art. Thus the story art and plot give meaning to the film as a work of cinema.

Perhapes the title Moonraker (1979),

It's not sci-fi but Children of Men has a distinctly similar feel to it.
