This Or Requeim For A Dream?
I absolutely love Requiem, is Panic similar? What are the differences between the 2? And in yalls opinion which is the overall better film? (I've never seen panic by the way.)

shareI think the thing with "gritty" as a setting is that by the time Requiem came out, gritty was a style and kind of lifestyle choice which wasn't necessarily all that gritty, I think often muddling its portrayal and the audiences opinions of it.
In 1971, almost nobody aspired to the kind of grittiness on display in Panic and I think it made what was displayed more real.
