Why did the name change on imdb?
It hasn't been released in English anywhere with that title.

I really don't care much. With so many titles, you really have to pick one.
I for one think Giù la testa is the best title, because it really explains what the movie is about. Duck, You Sucker! is alright, but it's not a well known English phrase. A Fistful of Dynamite is just an exploitation title. Once upon a Time...The Revolution is in my opinion the most logical English title.
But why was it changed? It's NEVER been released with that title in English. I do enjoy the title "Once Upon a Time in the Revolution" more than Duck You Sucker, but that title isn't what it's known as.
How can one change it back? Who even changed it? For what logical reason?
Well, Giù la testa is just as official as Duck, You Sucker!. Maybe a majority is more familiar with the English title... I really don't know who changed it.

shareNow that you mention it, I do see now that the title is listed as Once Upon a time in the Revolution on the main page (which isn't even how you write that title by the way). But it's still in Italian on the board. Yeah, that is pretty strange.
shareI hope the name-change on this site means they're re-releasing it in a more-restored, high-definition form. I'd love to see The Criterion Collection release this. I'd re-buy it in a heartbeat.
shareI've read somewhere that there's an upcoming Blu-ray release. I first of all hope they're going to correct the music sequences they got wrong in the last release and also avoid the censored tapes.
I also really hope that somewhere in the distant future they're going to find the missing scenes: the walk through the desert and Villega's toture. I'm not sure how the movie will work with them but some scenes are a bit confusing without that context.
I'm so buying that. Even with the less-correct DVD edition, the movie is fantastic.
Not seeing Villega's torture works for the movie IMO.
Once Upon A Time..... The Revolution was Sergio's very first choice of title for all releases of this film.
Only the French release enjoyed this title though as Leone's previous movie, Once Upon A Time In The West, had been successful there whereas it has been a dissapointment elsewhere.
Glasgow's FOREMOST authority Italics = irony. Infer the opposite please.
*Sigh* Now IMDb has changed it so it displays whatever the 'official' title of the movie is in your country. I hate this website sometimes.
shareI've just seen it in English, on Mexican SKY satellite, with the title "Agáchte, maldito" which might be translated as "Duck, idiot."
shareThe Title is the worst thing about this movie.It was originally released as Duck you Sucker in the U.S then re-released as Fistful of Dynamite to cash in on this Clint Eastwood titled westerns such as Fistful of Dollars.The Fistful of Dynamite was released with some scenes missing for the studio thought it was too long.There are several versions of this film floating around some horribly edited.The best version was the Italian version finally available in the US on dvd in English.
share"Duck you sucker" sounds comedic like a bad Jackie Chan movie directed by Quinton Tarantino...much prefer the old title I grew up with; "A Fistful of Dynamite"..
