SPOILERS ALERT - At the end...

... do you think they were morally and ethically correct to kill him?

The greatest trick the Devil has ever pulled was convincing the world he didn't exist!

Of course not. I don't mean to insult you, but I'm truly amazed that anyone would even ask that question.

It's a real bummer that none of us will have these message boards for very much longer. IMDB will lose a whole lot of visitors to their site.

Haha, it was a TRICK question but ALSO, wondering, to those of us who have SEEN the film, both why they did and how wrong they were, thanks.

Also, what's kind of worth mentioning is this.

Before fully seeing the film, I actually thought that either all of them ladies or some of them kill him like that. But, SPOILERS ALERT, it turns out that, yes he does die but...

Either only one of them kills him intentionally or was it an accident, albeit a fatal one? Probably the former, SPOILERS - he dies from eating that apparently poisoned mushroom. Did that Head woman poison them deliberately in order to kill Eastwood's character? The ending is shot SOMEWHAT ambiguously. But thing is...

Most of those other ladies in that area protest and are actually SADDENED by his death. So it also raises the question of - who or what really killed him?

Also, do you think Eastwood's character was, even if not wrong himself and flawed, an outright GOOD guy in this? Even if he didn't deserve his ultimate fate at the end.
