Anyone feel a twinge of sexual tension between Delon and Volonte?

Maybe I'm reading a little too much into the film, but by the end with all their silent staring there seems to be something going on there. And look at the way Delon takes the rose from the sexy waitress out of politeness, and then frowns and tosses it away.

I really gotta find better ways to waste time.

No. I mean, seriously...

Of course you're right. It's quite obvious. And rather ridiculous to deny...

"Twinge" is underplaying it. It's self-evident!

Darn tootin'. I just finished watching this movie and every character in the movie is gay!

The characters didn't have any wives or girlfriends, and they didn't spend all their time and money chasing after skirts. There were no hot and passionate sex scenes ao .... how much evidence do you need?

Sure Corey (Delon) had an ex-girlfriend who moved on after he went to prison but what does that prove? Only that he was faking it with her until he went to jail where he had unlimited access to what he really wanted.

And how about that police inspector with his "pussy" cats? Gay as a jay-bird ... he even swished his hips when he entered his apartment! Even Jarden (Montand) was in on it. See the way he was walking down the sidewalk carrying that guitar case? A homo-strut if I've ever seen one.

Gay as gay can be, every last one of them. All it takes to recognize it is a person "in the know" who can read between the lines.
