Released in Italy 50 years ago!!!

I can't believe this film is 50 years old! It still feels really contemporary in it's style and editing, especially compared to what other filmmakers were producing at the time. It's hard to overstate just how influential this was on not just the Italian gialli genre, but what would later become the slasher boom in the US.

In my opinion, Argento was never better. I prefer this to even Suspiria and Deep Red. The dream combination of Vittorio Storaro, Ennio Morricone, and Dario Argento was tough to beat.

It really is a wonderful film. If I could only have one Argento this would be in the running.
