These are just two guesses. I may be way off.
One, it doesn't really get shown all that much on TV. I have it on a cheap DVD but I can't recall when I've seen it lately on broadcast TV or cable. Of course I "cut the cord" a couple years ago so I don't know what History Channel or AMC, TCM, or any of the others show.
Two, it has a bunch of TV actors. Most every American, and even Robert Vaughn for the Germans, were more identified as small screen actors. People seem to discount a movie for that reason. Don't know if it's fair, but they do.
For the record though I like it. Certainly light years ahead of Battle of the Bulge, or, ugh... Pearl Harbor.
