How hot is Faye Dunaway?
Tough to beat in her prime.
shareGreat lips and set of eyes on her. Yeah she looked the best in this.
shareShe was definitely a knock-out in this movie. Unbeatable bone structure, eyes, the shape of her mouth. But I crack up every time during the sauna scene at the full makeup including the 1-inch false eyelashes!! And the clothes she wore were hideous!
shareThe eyelashes were a riot – didn't those get in the way of intimacy in the '60s? I liked the clothes, even though of course they're outdated now. She had some very impressive wigs as well. Of course, the fact that she had such a lovely face made everything worthwhile.
shareOh, the wigs! I always thought that she will lose her balance with those 3 kilos of extra hair on her head :D.
t I loved the way they styled her. She was more than hot, she was classy and beautiful.
Well, at least if she fell, the helmet would protect that pretty head of hers! ;-) I love the fashions of the late '60s: sometimes classy, sometimes tacky, always enjoyable. And Faye was the perfect actress to model them.

That moment came for me when she's in bed talking with McQueen; her makeup is REALLY jarring in a bedroom setting. Her big mane o' hair is fully teased and sprayed, and you can tell she's wearing a pound of foundation and THOSE INKY EYELASHES (about 3 strips worth!) I found myself mentally scrubbing it all away and trying to imagine what she looked like underneath it all.
I'm not saying it's unrealistic for an upper class woman back in 1968 to end up in bed wearing that much makeup after a date, it just looks quite extreme in an intimate setting.
She was really hot here, especially in the dress she wore in the chess scene.

I was a freshman/sophomore when this movie was released. I adored the clothes in the movie and of the time. We used to sew our own clothes. You could make a miniskirt with a yard square of remnant fabric!

i almost lost it during the chess scene. all those damn close ups of her face and lips and arms. ahhh... they dont make em like her anymore.

Real hot is the answer, of course. Don't care about the clothes :)
shareShe was hot. In fact, I thought she looked better here then "Bonnie and Clyde". The hair, makeup, clothes just all intertwine with that time period. For me, her only flaw was having a flat ass. lol.
The problem with minidresses was that only perfect 10s looked good in them; everybody else--more than 90% of womanhood--looked awful in those excessively revealing and indiscreet fashions. FD looks all right in this movie's outfits because she had the right figure for them; so did Barbara Eden in I DREAM OF JEANNIE.

Yes, Faye WAS hot in this film.
But she's a scary creature now, unfortunately ;(
Viva Bardot!
How about her entrance in the airport. She's wearing those oversized sunglasses as she struts through the airport, hat, gorgeous cheek bones, a pink suit that I always thought was somewhat ahead of its time. She was gorgeous in that scene. I think there was an auction scene where she wore a dress that looked awesome on her. Really, hard to beat her looks in this movie. I did think she looked pretty good in Chinatown too, although I wasn't a big fan of her hair - although it would have been in style in the 30's when the film was set. Come to think of it, I thought she was hot in 13 at Dinner, a made for TV Agathat Christie movie from '85. She had a steamy sex scene with Robert Redofrd in 1975's Three Days of the Condor and a somewhat laughable one with William Holden in Network ('76), but Network to my knowledge is the one film she made in which she bears her breasts. They were somewhat small, but perky and fairly pointy nipples. A turn on at 35 when she made that one.
shareShe is very hot and amazing in this movie. Great actress

I've never found Faye Dunaway more than mildly attractive, at best. I just don't know what people see in her. Her bone structure is always called phenomenal, but for me, it's just a bit too harsh so she comes across as mannish. I don't like her face or her eyes or even her body, really. And I typically love blondes.
Plus, she's only 27 in this, but looks to be in her mid-30's. I'm guessing that's because they were trying to make her look a bit older to match McQueen.
I don't know ... I just really don't see it.

I find it strange that someone called Faye Dunaway ''mannish'', I think she has a bit too many paedomorphic features to be called that, especially when she was young like in this film, and 'Bonnie and Clyde'.
She was pretty in Mommie Dearest, same with the real Joan Crawford, but her makeup (and the real Crawford's) were a little strange, like misapplied kabuki makeup.
If you are sick of the ''I love Jesus 100% signature'', copy and paste this into your profile!
she even had like a sex appeal in the early 80s, Mommie Dearest when she was looking at herself, She even had like an evil sexy in SuperGirl like when she showed some leg to the guy right before he drank the love potion that knocked him out.
