Not really giving any further definition of what I mean by that so I don't have to argue it.
Ofcourse I'll bring up your sexual inadequacy in some form because that's something that I need to project onto someone else; And if someone dosen't like a movie I like, that's the *beep* guy.
The film is really flat and dreary; the camera hardly moves, it feels like a filmed play and the director Gene Saks did better directing two other stage to screen adaptations Barefoot in the Park (1967) and Cactus Flower (1969). Jack Lemon's Felix is not funny, just annoying. Though I did not see Art Carney's performance on stage, I think he would have been a better choice and Tony Randall who played Felix on the TV series managed to be both likable and amusingly neurotic. The film though not without humor and funny lines is pretty much a dud.
