Which death do you think was the most painful?

Barbara had it bad too. Unless one of those zombies cracked open her skull and ate her brains she probably ended up as just a zombified head!

But yeah, if they burned to death and didn't get instantly blown to sh*t, they had it the worst.

Kyra's brutal attack on her mother, Marilyn, with the trowel. Nasty death. The truck's explosion could have killed both Tom and Judy instantly or at least more quickly.


Objection, your Honor. You can't preface your second point with first of all.

From how it's presented, Tom and Judy would have died instantly when the truck and fuel pump exploded. The most painful death is between Barbra, Helen, Harry, or Karen.

Barbra because she was presumably eaten alive.

Helen because she was stabbed multiple times with what could have been a rusty garden trowel.

Harry because he survived for a good minute or two after being shot at close range.

Karen because she slowly died and turned into a zombie.


Personally, I would say it's Karen for the same reason as Roger from 'Dawn'. The overall process of dying from a bite/scratch is longer than just flat-out being devoured. While Barbra was in more instantaneous pain, it was for a shorter period of time. Karen's pain increased from the moment she got bit until the moment she revived.

I say Barbara. Getting eaten alive by a herd of zombies, especially one that is your brother, is pretty horrible.

Getting stabbed by your own daughter is pretty awful too. But I still say Barbara.

That's a good question and honestly one I don't know how to answer. Helen's death, Barbara's death, and Karen's slow death (before her reanimation) seem unimaginably painful - in very different ways.

Barbara's. Hand's down. Though, Helen's is a close second.

It seemed like all deaths were equally painful. Johnny's death seemed like the least painful of all deaths. He went instantly with that bump in the head.
