Abusive treatment of Judy Carne

I have a feeing that in this day of political correctness, they would have never gotten away with all that abusiive treatment of Judy Carne during the "Sock it to me" sequences.

Hey, there was a sketch where Barbara Feldon had her dress ripped off her from ropes on both sides of her, leaving her in lingerie for the audience to gawk and go hysterical with laughter on it! You can't tell me that wouldn't be considered "woman abuse" if it were seen on television, from the crazed, extreme-leftist, hyper-feminists running around and screaming their little heads off today! There are other examples of making fun of a woman (and men, too) on Laugh-In, in its run, so it wasn't just on Judy. She was a riot though after getting water dumped on her, or falling through a trap door, etc. But she wasn't physically hurt, and everyone who saw the show knew it. People are just too sensitive today about various things, compared to the 1967-73 era of this classic comedy show!

I remember an article in People magazine in the 70s or 80s where she said she lost her eyelashes as a result of the water throwing
