I previously replied to say that my favourite was the episode where they had the cricket match but earlier today I watched an episode from 1975 which comes a close second in my opinion. (Spoilers) -
It's the one where the platoon spend a weekend camping by the lake and the local sea-cadets transported by Hodges turn up to camp at the same venue much to the annoyance of Mainwaring.
Overnight Frazer spots a stricken German aircraft and by the morning the crew have bailed out and are paddling around the lake in an inflatable dinghy.
The platoon make several attempts to get the Germans to surrender and bring them to shore all to no avail until Pike, aboard the sea-cadets pirate raft deflates the German dinghy with a toy bow and arrow. Great performances from all of them including Bill Pertwee as Hodges, who it's revealed can speak German.
Although the episode starts out a bit slow with a drawn-out scene in the Vicar's garden it soon becomes one of the funniest episodes of Dads Army I can remember.
"That's just what they'll be expecting us to do"..
