You don't see campy shows like 'Naked Gun', anymore, either.

Lt: "Would you like to take a dinghy?"

I love it cause it's so action packed. You get a bunch of little vignettes and no soap opera filler. Plus the humor and chemistry of the leads is great. Makes the stories feel really human.

Because this is not a real account of the life of a police officer. Thankfully we got TJ Hooker, Starsky and Hutch, and Miami Vice afterwards
