How can you get ahold of this film?

I've been dieing to ever since I found out about its existance but it just is so hard to find. Needless to say, blockbust does not carry it, and when i type it into Limewire the closest thing I got was the video for I am the Walrus. Being thay MMT is the album that got me into the Beatles I really want to see it. Please help me find this movie.

I've just rented a copy of Magical Mystery Tour from a Hollywood video near my house. I recommend trying different Hollywood videos around your area, because unlike Blockbuster every Hollywood has a different selections of movies, especailly the older and harder to find ones, if that doesn't work try looking for it in your county's library. Like you I've been wanting to see it for a while I'm glad i've finally found it. Good Luck

I borrowed mine from the local library. Try yours. If you want to purchase it, try eBay.

Gah, I dunno where to find it either. I'm a HUGE Beatles fan and I haven't seen Let It Be, Help!, or Magical Mystery Tour. Hard to get a hold of...

I don't know where you can find Let It Be, but, as unhelpful as it may seem, I got a copy of Help! and Magical Mystery Tour in Canada.

Get Overnet. It's older and slower than Limerwire but you are able to obtain rarer films from it like Magical Mystery Tour.

Just a bit of helpful advice about the DVDs. There are TWO DVD versions of this.
1. The first is an official Apple release distributed through MPI Home Video in 1997. I don't actually have it (yet), but its an official release, so I can only assume the quality is decent. Unfortunately, its currently out-of-print.

2. The second is a piss-poor bootleg release from Avenue One DVD that somehow ended up in major retailers such as Amazon, Best Buy, Circuit City, and others. Avoid at all costs. The picure quality is beyond terrible. Its unwatchable. Both DVDs have very similar cover art. Here's how to tell the difference. The bootleg has a yellow stripe on the bottom that says "G for General Exibition" and has an Avenue One logo in bottom right corner. The "Y" in "Mystery" is cut off.

Hope that helps! Lets all keep our finger crossed that Apple will re-release this in the near future!

Just an update: I finally got hold of the MPI through ebay and its pretty good. Not great but it's miles better than the Avenue One version. It's actually, you know, watchable. That being said, it doesn't look nearly as good as the MMT clips seen on the Beatles Anthology DVDs. From the looks of it, they've already remastered it (the visuals, anyway) and are simply waiting for the opportune moment reissue it. I do hope they hurry up. I'm only 25, but I know all the first generation fans certainly aren't gettting any younger!

I finally got a copy of 1997 MPI DVD through ebay. While it doesn't look as good as more recent Beatles DVDs (Anthology, Help 2 disc, etc.) its of decent quality and miles better than the Avenue One disc (which I'll probably sell, now). Still, if Apple were to release a properly remastered version of this (on DVD or maybe even Blu-ray), I'd buy it in a heartbeat!

Got mine on ebay, it's on its way! It's great because it's a Region 0 dvd so its works everywhere! Why is it on back-order!? I mean it's THE BEATLES for Christ's sake!
