MMT doesn't even place 3rd (places about 4th*) in the weirdest movies I've seen. In reverse order:
3) Brazil (1985): Saw this freshman year of high school. Made even weirder by starting it around 4 a.m. Weirdest movie I'd seen, until:
2) A Scanner Darkly (2006): Saw in the theater. I guess as an adaptation of a Philip K. Dick novel, weirdness is to be expected. Then:
1) Rocky Horror Picture Show (1975): Seen 30 Oct. of last year. Like Brazil, seen later than I was in the habit of being awake till at the time (finished around 1 a.m.). Also, it was the full experience (prop bags, shouting at the characters and their remarks, etc.) Still holds the record for the weirdest film I've ever seen.
*Might even place 5th if you want to think about that Sgt. Pepper film with the Bee Gees.
