Push me Pull You

Was I the only kid who really really wanted one after they saw the movie?

No, you were not. The Push Me Pull You was maybe the coolest animal I had ever seen.

reply

I thought it was cool as well but I didn't want one. A llama maybe but not one with two heads! Now it would be really cool if you could speak to it though.

reply

At least you wouldn't have had to clean up after it.
You could have gotten one with two rears.

reply

I speak to it everyday. One of the people in the costume was my Mother when she was known as Judy Chapman. I wasn't around at that time, nor would I be around for eleven to twelve years so, she kindly gave her royalties to the other woman who was a single mother of three, I believe.

It would probably kill the magic of the whole thing but, I've got a good photo of them without the heads I could donate to imdb just for the Hell of it.

Believe me, sometimes it's almost as if she DOES have two heads...eternally spinning.

Yes, but one question - how does it go to the loo? (Or reproduce?)

Ditto question for mermaids.

I wanted a push me pull you! (although I read somewhere its spelled like "pushmi-pullyoo")

reply

I want polanisia. (spelling?) she was so cool

reply

Polynesia, I think. Like Polly-want-a-cracker.
You would also need the actress who dubbed her
for the full effect.
I would just like Matthew Mugg.

reply

I always wanted the fox, sheelagh or something. Even though her cubs are suspiciously chiuahua looking!

Or the horse!!

NEMO NISI INSANUS LABORAT!!!!

reply

You would want Polynesia till she bit you and drew blood! Parrot owners have accepted the fact that if you want a parrot, especially the larger breeds, you will be bitten sometime along the way. Or until she started screeching. All things to consider beyond their cuteness, obvious brain power, and appeal. Do yourself a favor and do your homework before getting one of these pets.

reply

Pushmi-Pullyu.

reply

Who says it does? How many Pushmepullyous have you seen?

reply

Think of it as Siamese llamas (as in twins). I know there are Siamese twins but I'm not sure if such an event can happen to animals in the real world.

I'll take the foxes, the skunks, any horse, and all the cats...and WHERE ARE THE RABBITS?

reply

There are two headed lambs and snakes.

reply

Maybe that was why they are so rare?

reply

i really wanted one, but my roomate said that she was really scared of it as a kid

reply

Yeah, I wanted one too, but it turned out to ship one from chile included a phenomenal fee, not to mention the whole 'exotic animal' tax and all that. Damn the government!

reply

Ooh, I always wanted a pushmi-pullyoo/push-me-pull-you... and a giant sea snail. Not that I was a greedy child, of course.

Most of all I wanted to live on the floating island! How fantastic did that look? (Although I was always confused about the size after the whale 'bumped' the two pieces back together again.)

reply

I love this movie! It was one of the movies that I watched over and over again when I was little!

I never really thought about wanting a Push me-pull you, but for the longest time I was convinced that they were real. I actually thought I saw one at the zoo once!

reply

We got a stuffed one as kids! I bet it is still squirrelled away somewhere at my parents' house--I should dig around for it and sell it on eBay--I could probably be a millionaire!

reply

I'm watching this movie from Netflix instant watch right now and the name of the the animal is not Push me Pull You, it is Pushme-Pullyu.

reply

I soooo wanted a push me--pull you! They love to dance, what could be better?

reply

me three.
