Most Annoying Character Ever?

While I was watching the film, I kept wanting to strangle Blanche Barrow until she died. I think she may have been the most annoying character in film history.

What do you think? And what characters in other movies can compete with her as the most irritating ever?

Ruby Rhod (Chris Tucker) in The Fifth Element

Julia Roberts' gurning, fairy-tale of a tart in Pretty Woman.

I don't know if this would qualify as most annoying, but the character that I've wanted to kill the most while watching them on screen is Ms. Carmody from The Mist.

Of course, that was the point and Marcia Gay Harden had a brilliant performance. But still...I don't think I've EVER hated a character as much as Carmody.

Katherine Hepburn in Bringing Up Baby.

Yeah, I gotta say Blanche was pretty irritating in the movie. Blanche wanted her and Buck to settle down and maybe adopt a kid, she didn't want any part in the crime life. However, in an interview, the real Blanche Barrow said that she hated the movie because, according to her, it made her look like "a screaming horse's a**". I'm sure the real life Blanche was whiny, but probably not as impossible as they portay her.

And I dunno if this is a good comparison or not, but I found Jojo's character in the movie RV pretty annoying. I really couldn't enjoy the movie because of her whiny a** character.

omg...ALL the female characters in this film were annoying.

I REALLY disliked Katherin Hepburn's little sister in Phildaphia Story.
And Clark Cable in It Happened Last Night. And Harrion Fords daughter in Air Force One. SO annoying!

God, there are so many annoying characters in movie history, but I can't think of them all...

Currently obsessed with: Jason Miller (The Exorcist)
