All I've heard for 50 years is "this movie is trash". Huh?!? Tennessee Williams was gonna take his name off?? He was a drunk anyway. Wouldn't know greatness. Started with "Gone With The Wind", then "Network", now this film; great hot stars (Wood/Redford) story, writing, costumes (Great Edith Head, designer) what more do you need?!? Natalie Wood blows me away! SO GOOD! I like it. I'm sorry. Sue me. Ha Ha John

This was practically my favorite movie when I was little, and it would come on TV. I'll have to re watch it and see how it's stood up.

I can still hear Kate Reid drawling, "And then she roooowwwwwwllllleeed him."
