The PBS show Arther well kinda.. Buster one of the children characters has asthma then imagines himself shrinking all his friends to mico size inside his chest to show how asthma works. Also has a lot of lines how they go into detail about what is going on side but no sub. lol

There is an episode of "Spongebob Squarepants" in which Sandy creates a ship--which looks just like the Proteus--which can be shrunk down to a tiny size. Spongebob and Patrick use it to go inside Squidward. It is called, appropriately enough, "Squidtastic Voyage."

There is an episode of The Avengers called "Mission... Highly Improbable" and it was about a miniaturization machine and the protagonists were shrunk.
The episode aired 1 year after this movie was released. It was obviously inspired by it.

In a way, all of the comments are valid. BUT, perhaps, we are looking the wrong way. The SF story, "He Who Shrank" was published 30 years before "Fantastic Voyage." (Although that story did not have anybody inside a living body.)

I read that as a teen in the '70s, it was in an anthology of old sci-fi short stories called "Before the Golden Age" chosen by Issac Asimov. It was a great read then, and I wish I still had it!
