Not at all, it's one of the most hypnotic movies ever made and surely one of the greatest. Few movies can have an actual profound impact on a person, this was one of those for me.

It isn’t. It’s slow at times, but never boring, and sometimes extraordinary. The episodic format of the film also makes it fly by more quickly than many lengthy movies.
