Trump is getting slammed for his comments on Zucker when meeting her to do a cameo on the show back in 2005. Many are saying this could be the final nail in the coffin for Trump's campaign.
Bottom line is this will probably have little effect on the election. Most people's views of the candidates have already been formed, and for those who are still undecided, many will not make a final choice until very close to election day.
People who hate Trump do so, in part, because of remarks he has made about women and minorities, and the sort of frat boy style he uses to make them. That has been well-established, and a tape made more than ten years ago doesn't really change anything. People who hate Clinton do so, in part, because of perceptions that she is dishonest and a manipulator, as well as concerns about her actual physical health. That too is something that many people say has been well established.
Between now and election day there will no doubt be a further series of revelations and October surprises about both candidates. Shortly after the Trump tape was released, a new batch of emails damaging to Clinton was released by Wikileaks. These have been ignored by many news outlets as they focus on the Trump tape, but they will filter through over the next few weeks and will have their effect. There are also not one, but two more debates coming up which will create their own news stories.
I think it is way too soon for either side to claim that the election is over because of whatever revelation the current day's news brings. This is a close election and will probably end up being decided by just one or two state's electoral votes. I seriously doubt if that dynamic is going to change because of this or any other revelation.
It's a shame that AZ has been dragged into this. Trump is a horrible excuse for a man and husband and probably as president. Love her or hate her Hillary is the better choice of the two. The longer this campaign goes on the more comes out about Trump and it just gets worse.
The majority of the recording was on the way to the Days set, when Donald was making a cameo. Upon arriving, they see Ari out of the window, and don't address her by name (possibly because they don't know it) but start talking about her looks, and her legs. What might be the creepiest inclusion though is once they get off the bus, immediately on the heels of their discussion, Billy Bush prompts Ari to give Donald a hug. Perhaps innocuous enough without further context, but knowing what they were saying just moments prior, adds a bit of slime to the whole thing.
Meanwhile up here in Canada we're all just shaking our heads that any of you can be so dumb as to support a racist, homophobic, mysoginist, fascist like Trump. What happened to the Republican Party of Abraham Lincoln? I surely do not believe that the majority of Republicans think like or behave like Trump, why in God's name would you want to support a man like that??? I just don't get it.
I also find it highly bizarre that Billy Bush has been suspended over this incident that happened 11 years ago, yet Trump can still run for president. When will he be suspended?
Anyway, Arianne Zucker released a statement, in case any of you were interested. "My name is Arianne (R-E-on) ZUCKER (Zooker) and I am a strong, independent, hard working mother, business woman and partner to a great man. I have grown to learn that the words of others cannot effect the value of my self worth or define the content of my character. How we treat one another, whether behind closed doors, locker rooms or face to face, should be done with kindness, dignity and respect. Unfortunately, there are too many people in power who abuse their position and disregard these simple principles and are rewarded for it. In understanding the magnitude of this situation, I choose to stand tall with self respect and use my voice to enrich, inspire and elevate the best of who we are as people."

It's very simple. As bad as Trump is, many voters consider him to be the lesser of two evils.

Someone who deletes emails and lies seems more like a politician to me than the other...
That's also part of Trump's appeal. Many voters want an outsider who is not a politician. With Trump, what you see is what you get. With Clinton, you can't always be sure what you're going to get. It's like the devil you know is better than the devil you don't.

By that logic, the devil you know would be Hillary - we've seen what she can do and frankly it's more appealing than Trump. Do you really trust that man with the nuclear codes????

Trump is actually less of an interventionist on foreign policy than Clinton is. Many voters find him more trustworthy on foreign policy than Hillary will be on Supreme Court nominations and other domestic issues.

I don't think he's answered any questions with any kind of information to form an opinion on where he stands on foreign policy. Saying "I'll beat ISIS" isn't stating his policy.

I have never understood this rationale. If I'm looking for a particular service provider, I want someone with competency and experience in providing that service. But then again, we live in a cynical age where people are more apt to listen to celebrities who think they have medical knowledge, over actually trained medical professionals.
