John in the freakin bathtub was HOT HOT HOT!!!! Definately one of the best scenes by far. LMAO can you imagine if John HADN'T been wearing swimming trunks in the scene; and all us dirty minded girls tryin to get a look.

John on the train with his "evil" laugh, and well any scene with John.

-When George trips & falls and then one of the Beatles stomps on him.

-The beginning when they're in the train

Flash forward to a more real bathtub scene in Imagine.

Sorry, but John has always been my least favorite Beatle (one of them has to be).

The scene between John and the lady in the hallway cracks me up.

"I now declare this bridge...open".

"Shake, take that wig off, it suits you!"

The whole movie is genius.

Oh yeah, another one id the grandfather bribing those three boys (who are they and whatever became of them?) to get into the theater.

George's interview

The crook trying to steal the car and then giving up

Come in number 7. Your time's up.

reply

He was actually successful later in stealing the car. As soon as he got in it, a cop jumped in and asked him to follow whoever (might have been the Beatles, can't remember).

What I mean is that he tried and tried to pick the lock and then when they got in he just opened the door. Then he pulls his hat down like a 1930's gangster and becomes the 'chase car'; an ode to the old B&W gangster movies, as it were.

I like this one moment when George walks into the 'with-it' producer's office - the secretary is on the phone and she puts on her shoes behind her desk; George turns away from this quasi-intimate scene, but takes another peek.

That moment when Grandpa rises from the floor into a romantic duet from 'Die Fleidermaus' has me on the floor every time!

the part when Ringo dances! (:

reply

I love the scene where Ringo dances with EVERYBODY. He looks so cute and looked like he was having a great time.

And yes, that scene where John was in the bathtub was hilarious and sizzilin' hot! Yeouch! I'll admit that I was trying to LOOK.

The scene where the Beatles were sitting in the train cart and sorta annoying that old man, I think that was Paul's grandfather(?), and he leaves. Then, another man comes into the cart. Just as soon as he sat down in the middle of Paul and John, and starts reading his newspaper, the guys just stared at him and start sorta harrasing him. Even when they left! They still messed with him! LOL!

And other scenes in this movie like the musical ones are just wonderful. I never thought I see the day where I actually adore The Beatles a lot.

I've seen that picture and would very much would love to airbrush Yoko out of it! Seeing Yoko on there just ruins it...plus I don't think John looked all that great on there either, the long hair didn't suit him despite it was the 'thing' back in 1968. Now if it was in 1965 and he was alone (or with Cynthia but I doubt she would appear naked for the public) THEN I'll be drowning in my own drool.

reply

No thanks. I'll pass on the "The Two Virgins" picture. I've seen it and really not impressed.

I'd personally would like to see him and the guys, in the fashion of the classic Romans and Greeks statue pose meet male modeling, semi-nude picture or cover. They would be wearing cloths, cloaks, or something in order to not reveal too much if you get what I mean. I'm sorry. I'm not gonna be too naughty.

And I beg your pardon for this random question but, has anyone seen any shirtless pics of the guys?

YES! Oh there's many of them! Like backstage at concerts where they are changing into their stage outfits as well as beach/pool where they are wearing swim trunks.

reply

Guess what, googirl. I went and saw some of the pictures of the guys shirtless. It was the photos where they were in their swim trunks at the beach and at/in the pool in various times. Boy are they HOTT! And damn, John sure got some lucious legs! Paul's ass is quite revealing in his bathing suit and I faint when George is shirtless PERIOD! Ringo is just....YEOUCH in his tight-fitting trunks! I had to turn my fan on high cause I was starting to feel faint and sweat. Lol! *sigh*

reply

About Paul's grandfather. It would be very interesting to see Paul's REAL grandfather. In the context of the movie, is the grandfather supposed to be on Paul's mother's side or his father's?

reply

It's not really an entire scene, but I love at the end, when George asks Shake for his boots and a tea, just before the show starts, and then you see the four big posters of the four guys and George is holding his cup of tea !

reply

LOL!

reply

That is hilarious! I would have never seen that w/out your post, thanks!
For some reason I like the staging in "If I Fell" - John is playing and singing at Ringo, who is setting up his kit rather huffily, and then sits down playing right on cue.
Nice piece of comic timing in the canteen where Grandpa gets up looking for some sugar for his tea while talking at Ringo - an employee takes his tea away just before he sits back down and looks for it, puzzled.

George's fashion interview

John in the bathtub/George shaving the mirror

Not a scene, but I love Ringo's terrible fake laugh when he's talking about Paul's grandfather

"She looks more like him than I do..."

This whole movie is hilarious. I don't think I could ever get sick of watching it, and that has nothing to do with my certified Beatles OCD. Okay, maybe a little...
