i think it was LOVE LETTERS TO THE SARGE. obviously it was very blatant by the last season but sometimes its kind of uneasy to watch. perhaps that is why they brought in lou ann to get around the issue.

It may have been more of a father fixation/ hero worship than sexual attraction.
