No disrespect meant for Welles, but I must say I do agree with you. There are certainly interesting touches, but to what end? ....for Welles to show us he can do it?

OP: Agreed. I couldn't make it past the first 20 minutes of double-talk and hand-wringing. I can't imagine another 100 minutes of this wanky nonsense.
