That does NOT make it a terrible movie,
It only makes it: “a plot that can’t be understood.”....
Think about that.
I’ve never heard the Devil, but it sounds like him.
I always interpret this remark as follows:
In real life, bond doesn’t ALWAYS get the girl (ie the very cold and difficult Tilly Masterson),
So, the “perfect” world of make-believe , where Bond ALWAYS fulfills his desires is likely the only place a name like “Pussy Galore” could exist, hence Bond concludes he must be dreaming.
Note: I am assuming “Pussy Galore” has the same meaning to Bond as to most men....any woman with a name like that will freely have sex with you.
To paraphrase John Cleese: She was playing Brahms.....Brahms third racket!
I used to hate the colorization of B&W films, but over time, I have enjoyed colorized films as much and often MORE than the original. Think of it logically people: Color is more REALISTIC than B&W, but I think the B&W lovers enjoy the MOOD or FANTASY that B&W conveys.
It was meant to get the money from horny teen boys....
I think he looks a lot like Cliff Rchard here.
Crafty, Deceitful and Dishonest poster, this scene never appears in the film!!!! Really cheesed me off.
AneesahC88 You must have been fast-forwarding if you only wasted an hour.
I agree 100% , this line was in the film to provide a fleeting moment of comic relief (look it up).
Anyone implying any deeper meaning is way off base.
