Similar Films?

I thought this was a great film, very stylish. I also loved the "romantic thriller" element of the film as well as the snappy dialogue. What are some similar films, from any time period, that are close to this one? Someone recommended The Tourist and while I can definitely see why, I thought that was a horrible film. It certainly wants to be Charade, but it falls way short.

"The 39 Steps"(1935), if you can find a decent print. It's Hitchkock's best, and Robert Donat and Madeleine Carroll have the chemistry to match Grant and Hepburn.

This movie seems to have a similar style to "The Pink Panther" from the same year, and of course, music by the same composer.

A movie that comes to mind and hasn't been mentioned is Gambit with Shirley MacLaine and Michael Caine. It also is romantic heist film.

To catch A Thief, Arabesque, Gambit, How to Steal a Million, Caprice, are all films which I have enjoyed which I think have things in common with Charade - suspence, romance, plot twists, hot leading men.
