TWILIGHT ZONE was MUCH BETTER
I've watched quite a few and this show sucks.
shareTZ was a great show but took itself too seriously, as did dear Rod Serling. Certain TZ eps are unwatchable because they are so preachy or because the acting is so hammy.
TOL was more fun and, as is often said, the hour format made for better storytelling. Of course the production values were not as good as the TZ. But I find that gives the TOL a certian charm that the TZ lacks.
They're both great shows. I love both, but they're quite different. TOL is more straight up science fiction, where TZ was a mix of fantasy , the unexplained, and occasional sci fi.
Can we agree that they're both better than much of what makes up television these days? The original Star Trek, too , is a fave of mine
