the teddy boy/rocker gang led by gang leader 'king' played by a young and surly oliver reed,sing this mantra as they troll the streets of a small sea coast town looking for victims to menace......'black leather,black leather,rock-rock'.
my surf'a'billy band 'legion of twang' and i actually cover this song......it never fails to bring the house down.

Lots of people seem to hate this movie; I love it. Everyone whose comments survive on this thread seem to like the song; I absolutely loathe it. I think I hate it more than the one inserted into 'Lust for a Vampire.' When the OP says performing it brings the house down I seriously wonder if he means with uproarious laughter. Both melodically and lyrically it's so repetetive it seems intentionally designed to get unwelcomely stuck in the listeners head to torment them for several days afterwards.

BTW, Macdonald Carey does seem ridiculous as Shirley Ann Fields' love interest. And she is incredibly gorgeous.
