This is one of the movies listed as having done filming at the often used filming site Graystone Mansion, built by oil tycoon Edward Doheny for his son Edward in 1928, in Beverly Hills, California.

Does anyone know whether this movie used only the grounds, or showed the exterior of the mansion, or filmed interiors in the mansion?

Does anyone know what fictional building Greystone Mansion was supposed to be, and the fictional location of it?

According the Wikipedia plot summary, the mansion in the movie is supposed to be in California, but I don't know if it was supposed to be the LA area or elsewhere in California.

Wouldn't it have been easier to have posted one thread about this mansion, and then list all of the movies that had been filmed there...instead of clogging up the board with multiple posts...?
