Your favourite Saint leading lady
Mine would be Suzanne Lloyd who appeared in more episodes(six) than any other
actress on the show. Close behind Suzan Farmer and Justine Lord (Galaxy Rose in
The Fiction Makers).

My favourite is Dawn Addams (starred in three wonderful episodes). And yes I also like Justine Lord, Suzanne Lloyd, Shirley Eaton and Eunice Gayson. Jeanne Roland as "Sibao" is also great, but she did only this episode.

Margit Saad deserves a mention here. Bea-utiful!
No blah, blah, blah!
The women on this show were always gorgeous. One of the prime reasons to revisit the series from time to time :)

Yeah, I had a big crush on Jane Merrow back in the '60s. Check out this still photo of her from 'The Lion in Winter':

She was so hot!
This is a really good question. I chose my favorite primarily because I liked the episode so much:
Belinda Dean in "The Golden Journey".
i'll have to go for Shirley Eaton, although Dawn Addams is a close second.
Also Suzanne Lloyd is maybe the most likable. Many girls were gorgeous and terrific in this series, one only has to mention such as Barbara Shelley,Samantha Eggar and even Honor Blackman and many others.
For me it was Justine Lord - hands down, followed closely by Suzanne Lloyd.
shareANNETTE ANDRE !!!!!!
Bar none !!!
"Every Troll Matters When Message Board
Domination Is Your Goal."
Sorry!
Forgot about her. However, still think you should give Justine Lord further consideration. Actually, they're both (in my opinion) pretty damn hot!
It's really hard to choose.

I'd like to put in a word for the evergreen Jane Merrow, who was a regular in all the ITC adventure series of the 1960s.
PS she's my friend on Facebook, lucky me!
Heaven forbid I would ever leave out Jane Merrow. That is one talented lady.
Have you ever seen any of her apparence in the British "Danger Man" aka "Secret Agent") series? I have always been a fan of her acting abilities.

Justine Lord...especially in the 1st episode of season 4 (1965) ;-)
shareSuzanne Lloyd was also on another favorite of mine ZORRO
shareIt's hard to pick just one. I'm partial to Justine Lord, Dawn Addams, Shirley Eaton, and Sue and Suzanne Lloyd.
shareOops! One significant omission. Jane Merrow ranks right up there as well.
shareLast time I mentioned Justine Lord, who still is my favourite "The Saint"-Lady, but follow-up are Sylvia Syms, who played together with Lord in "The Fiction Makers" and some other episodes; Suzanne Lloyd, Shirley Eaton and Annette Andre.
And I also like Jayne Sofiano and Veronica Carlson, who played sisters in "The Man Who Gambled With Life".
I can explain why Justine Lord is my no. 1
I think in the episodes "The Chequered Flag" and "The Fiction Makers" there are good vibrations and sexual tensions between her and Simon Templar (Roger Moore), because she tries to seduce him. In "The Chequered Flag" successfully, in "The Fiction Makers" she has to share with Syms :)
Only just started watching this series, but so far I like Shirley Eaton (one of my favourite Bond girls) and Sally Bazely (from The Careful Terrorist). I'm sure I'll find Jane Merrow and Annette Andre to my liking too though, as I remember them being both being very nice looking in The Prisoner and Randall And Hopkirk (Deceased) respectively. And of course I also remember Veronica Carlson being pretty stunning in those days from her Hammer movies work.
I totally agree with you about Veronica Carlson!
Looking forward to watching her in The Saint episode THE MAN WHO GAMBLED WITH LIFE!

Just today I started watching the Roger Moore episosdes again, first time in at least 10 years. I'm sure I'll be reminded of a lot of leading ladies I admired.
Off the top of my head, Annette Andre was my favorite-- she was just such a sweetie! Later, she turned up in an episode each of THE NEW AVENGERS and RETURN OF THE SAINT, and 10 years later, the MAIGRET movie with Richard Harris. (She went from playing the nice girl to the wife to the mother.)
But my all-time fave SAINT girl is Sally Gray, who was in both THE SAINT IN LONDON and THE SAINT'S VACATION. The latter also featured Cecil Parker, who gets my vote for the best SAINT villain on-screen, ever! Talk about smooth...
Don't forget Wanda Ventham, she was very popular in the 60s. My mother was her stand-in on many pictures and my father was Roger Moore's stand-in too on the early episodes of the Saint. On a trip to the set with my father one day my brother and I were enrolled as extras, aged 10, for a Spanish scene on the back lot at Elstree Studios for The Golden Journey. Its great to watch it again. I remember the director Roy Ward Baker screaming cut half way through the first take as my brother and I were making so much noise running up and down the stairs in the background they couldn't hear Roger's dialogue. We had then to run quietly, not easy. I've promised myself a Volvo P1800 one day...
shareWanda Ventham-- mmmmmmmmm!!! I first noticed her in the DOCTOR WHO story "Image Of The Fendahl" in the mid-70's. Later when I saw her on THE SAINT, I couldn't believe how CUTE she was back then! She also became a regular during the end-run of UFO, and made those episodes all the more watchable. (She also made me wish they had gone to a 2nd season, her character seemed the only hope for Ed Straker to ever have a social life, since she was already a SHADO member.)
shareHard to decide this, but my top five are Dawn Addams, Shirley Eaton, Sue Lloyd, Suzanne Lloyd, and Justine Lord. If you back me into a corner, I'll probably go with Justine, but the others are non-pareil as well.
shareI remember Dawn Addams did several episodes of THE SAINT, and while I haven't seen them again yet, I did see her recently in episodes of DANGER MAN and SHERLOCK HOLMES (with Ronald Howard!). She was so YOUNG in that one.
shareI love Francesca Annis from the 1966 color episode "Locate and Destroy." She was about 21 at the time, and I can see why Ralph Fiennes left Alex Kingston for her almost 30 years later!
shareJustine Lord. Perfect!
