I would like to throw this out.
If there was to be a Saint show or movie (not like that horrible Val Kilmer movie)--who would you have playing Simon?
I think the Saint should be British.
I thought about Hugh Grant, he may be a little too goofy for this role.

shareIt's Roger Moore's part. I thought Ian Ogilvy was OK, but didn't have Moore's special Weltanschauung. The only other actor I could see ever rivalling Moore in this part would be the late Anthony Valentine.

But how about making the Saint for the 2010's a woman? Jacqueline Bisset would have been my choice, but she's probably a bit old now. Cate Blanchett? Or maybe Claire Danes?
