you're kind of right because unfortunately people feel more bad for an attractive woman getting wronged than an ugly and old woman in a movie.

and what a film huh? oh my gosh. it's amazing how powerful it is for it being made in 1964. don't you agree?

She was a beauty. I recently saw L'eclisse, which also had Rabal in it, and prime Monica Vitti was another stunner.
