2016 Remake of the magnificent seven...

Ohhhh hollywood, you have crossed a line that should never have been crossed.
this is beyond sacrilege.
This is one you should have left alone..
True grit was pretty ok for a remake, but still, john wayne was the duke and there is no replacement.
But steve mqueen.....now that just wrong.
I don't care how good denzel is, he ain't no yul brynner...

terrible day for great film making...

Could make for a good narrative in Westworld, though they'd have to split the scenes over several episodes.

Good God you're such an IMBECILE. Stick to Transformer movies and just let the adults speak here. Now go back to you playpen

I've watched the new Mag 7 today. In my opinion, the 3 sevens rank as follows:

1. Kurosawa's 7 Samurai - masterpiece (pretty much like everything he's ever done). This movie is like a vampire: never ages, will never die.

2. Sturges' The Magnificent Seven - great movie. Everything about it oozes greatness: the cast, the music, the image.

3. Fuqua's The Magnificent Seven - really good movie. Truly entertaining, well acted, funny, spectacular fight scenes.

He ain't GOT to be, NOR does he want to be no Yul Bryner! I am a fan of YB... and his 1960 version....But I am a big fan of Denzel Washington! Grew up on watching westerns, cow boy movies...And as my dearly departed dad called them...." Good ole shoot em ups." Had 4 brothers who loved them as well; so me and my Mom learned to love them too! We watched every iconic and obscure 'six gun flick' known to man on this earth...Including the few rare all black cast cowboy films as well!

I enjoyed seeing this with my 12 year old grandson; because now he wants to see the original!

Every actor worth his salt in Hollywood wanted to or actually starred in a 'saddle sitter.'. Those who didn't or couldn't lived or died wishing they had!

I enjoyed the supporting cast as well. I am a girly girl, and.....I am 'strictly dickly.' So to witness all of that testosterone on film, was a welcome change from all of the flamboyant, fairy, flouncing, switching, make up wearing, handbag carrying entities that are blatantly portrayed on the big and little screens of America!

People are so whiney. Don't like the movie, don't watch it.

It's not like the 1960 version was the original. Most things are imitations of others.

Everyone going around down-voting the (very entertaining) 2016 remake like a bunch of whiney kids.
