shareBoy, this obvious troll went right over many heads.
shareYou know, I posted this years ago. And sometimes when I feel down, I just come back here and read and laugh all over again. I really meant it to be a joke on religious people who can sometimes take things too seriously and people just seemed to go with it.
This little message thread has been my greatest accomplishment.

shareYep.
ALL truly great art is offensive to SOMEONE.
I love this movie. LOVE it.
One of the many points of this movie is to show how even men of God, Brady {March} & Brown {Akins} can go astray of what God's word tells us to do.
No where in the Bible does Jesus Christ say that we should kill sinners (Cates & Drummond) as it is depicted in the movie.
Jesus says hate the sin love & forgive the sinner.
And let (s)he who is without sin cast the first stone.
Love your brother/sister as you would love yourself.
Brady & Brown have lost all sight on what God/Christ expects of His children and so have the townspeople for the most part.
This movie brings this out crystal clear.
LMAO.. nice one!
shareYep...you did indeed zing everyone!
But the unfortunate truth is the fact that there are many folks who feel exactly this way, and quite a few are posting in these threads. And some others are pushing pretty darned hard to reunite church and state, because they feel the need to tell others how to live and what to think.
Kinda not what our forefathers had in mind when this country was founded...
What a coincidence, Christianity is very offensive to me, so I'm not surprised
