In BRIDES Van Helsing tells the priest that Dracula does not cast a reflection in water or a mirror. Yet in DRACULA HAS RISEN FROM THE GRAVE, a priest first sees Drac when his reflection is displayed in the water.

Van Helsing was pretty inept for an expert vampire killer. The first girl coming up from the grave seem to leave him completely lost about what to do. And the bat really threw him - maybe since he believed they couldn't turn into a bat and was shocked!

Van Helsing has studied the line of "Vlad Tepes" but this line had become corrupted. He obviously learned the new features and passed them down to his own decedents, hence Van Helsing's great grandson in "Satanic rites of Dracula" knowing that the latest incarnation raised by blood ritual is vulnerable to silver and hawthorn, unlike the earlier version.

I have just always thought Van Helsing was mistaken as Meinster seems to be of the same line as Dracula, that is the same type of Vampire.
But you are correct in their being different Vampires in the Hammerverse and them all being connected via 'Captain Kronos). It was good as now the Karnsteins as well as the 'Vampire Circus' Vampires, and the Dracula series Vampires and the Vampires in 'Kiss of The Vampire' could all fit into the same world.

'Satanic Rites of Dracula' isn't in the same canon as the period films as they don't fit in at all.
For instance in the first of them (Dracula AD 1972) Dracula dies fighting Van Helsing in 1872 and stays in the grave until 1972. This doesn't fit at all with the other films as the first meeting between Van Helsing and Dracula occurred in the 1880s (I can't remember if the original film is set in 1885 or 1988 though) which is after the last meeting between them according to the "modern" Dracula canon. This is impossible.
The "modern" Dracula films were reboots in the same way that 'Batman Begins' was a reboot of the Batman franchise (to use one modern example)
And as someone mentioned it; Dracula doesn't quite cast a reflection in 'Dracula Has Risen From The Grave' as a normal reflection wouldn't be seen from that angle (the "reflection" is coming from where the priest is standing) so I would say it is an apparition of Dracula who had for some time been trapped in the water or a thought form. I'd just put it down to one of Dracula's strange powers!
