a stuntman was killed and there was suppose to be another battle scene at the end.

Not one of Ford's better efforts.

IT is toward the end of his career and although he had some real good efforts including this one I think he was stopped giving as much, everyone revered him --- Even now everyone thinks everything he ever did is great
Before you start --- I don't think "The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance" is near as good as it's rating or as people say --- it's watchable
And they weren't
I think TMWSLB is one of his best. Not as good as The Searchers but still very good.
