Holy crap! I don't understand why Lee Remick didn't become an enormous star, a la Marilyn Monroe or Jayne Mansfield after this movie. She's like Jessica Rabbit sexy. Well, um, I mean, if you like your cartoons in that way. Which I, of course, don't.

Back to Lee, though: she's oozing sex. She's constantly flirty. As Fat Bastard would say, she's dead sexy. Wow!

I want the doctor to take your picture so I can look at you from inside as well.

She was pretty hot young but soon got kinda, I dunno, boxey and mommish.

SPOILER AHEAD: I think Barney's daughter is the hottest in the movie, and one of the hottest ever.

Lee Remick was a bigger star than Jayne Mansfield. Mansfield was a novelty act.

IKR? her last scene, when she walks down the stairs and you can see she had a fine body on her.

I was not aware of her alcohol problem (so Days of Wine and Roses makes perfect sense as a role for her). I would say a few things. Not only was she an excellent actress, but I think she was serious about acting and didn't want to be typecast as a blond bimbo. As for cultfilmfreak, I don't EVER remember thinking she looked "boxey and mommish". Just last night I watched "The Europeans" for the first time, and I thought she was still stunningly gorgeous in 1981.

I agree. I actually feel she became more attractive, facially, with age.
