Ray Bradbury's I Sing the Body Electric

Not only is this episode rarely shown, but I've never seen much discussion about it either. It was one of many scripts written by Ray Bradbury, but this is the only one that was ever produced. I've heard that he was not happy with the final result, but also that he refused to discuss just what went wrong. The show later became a short story (in the collection I Sing the Body Electric) and then became a TV-movie called The Electric Grandmother, which Bradbury also had a hand in.

How do people feel about this episode today, and does anybody know why Bradbury wasn't happy with it?

I have seen that episode on MeTV including fairly recently. I know the story gets it title from a Walt Whitman poem. The cast includes one of the Cartwright sisters. I think Veronica. There is an episode of Alfred Hitchcock Presents based on a Ray Bradbury story titled “Shopping For Death” that I really like.
