I check in about every week or so. Something changed when the IMDb boards closed. I don't know what it was, but it hasn't been the same even with the same people.
shareit has become slower and slower :(
shareToo bad the IMDB community didn't flourish over here. I wonder where all the people from IMDB went ...
shareNow I feel guilty! lol TZ is a longtime favorite show of mine. I've been reading all the posts. But sometimes I don't know what to add. Maybe I should start a couple of threads of my own. I'd hate the see the Twilight Zone discussion die out for lack of participation.
shareThat would be cool if you did.
share AngularTurnip-hey are still around on other message boards, But also gone to other chat forums like IMDB2.0 etc
The way you said where have they all gone and not where have some of others gone made it sound like there was just 4 people speaking on all of the boards lol
You're right. I made it sound much direr than it actually is. I just hope the best for MovieChat; it's full of potential that's for sure.
How is IMDB2? I went there months back but didn't find much activity. Perhaps it has picked up since then.
Just got the blu ray set not too long ago. The picture quality is amazing. The detail incredible. (With the exception of a few episodes in season 2 shot on video).
Yeah, it's a shame some perfectly fine episodes like "Twenty Two" and "Long Distance Call" received the video treatment (though the surreal nature of both stories is somewhat enhanced by the format's artificiality).
While audio commentaries generally displease me I do like some of the ones offered on blu-ray. In particular, I suggest listening to the one for "The Obsolete Man" as well as the one for "Nick of Time." Both feature Matthew Weiner, the guy whose brainchild is "Mad Men." He and Mark Scott Zicree ("The Twilight Zone Companion"'s author) have a nice repartee, and, more importantly, some insights into these standout episodes.
