Funniest Damn movie!

since you can't find it on dvd or vhs... I always look for it on tcm and other cable tv networks as to when they run it... never fails to crack me up. "... No Tony you may not......(page flip)....... have a pony..." C'mon release on DVD.

A very funny movie indeed. Don Knotts was only in it briefly but man he was hilarious and it is no small wonder that Andy didn't want him as
Barney Fife on his tv show.

My parents watched this movie, I love it. My all-time favorite scene is where the drunken Army ( I think the Infantry) comes over and takes a swig of "the drink" at the bar. The way that Army man says "S--M--O--O--T--H......after swallowing his big swig. It cracks me up every time! This movie is sheer genius.
