What would you have liked to happen to scott carey?

I think the story is somewhat muddled and gets too bogged down with hollywood...the cat chasing him, the spider battle, the existential crap at the end.

If you were to tell the story of man shrinking in size, how would you do it differently. How would you tell the story more realistically? I dont think the movie captures what it would really be like for a manwho was shrinking a little at a time. How would he respond to his friends and his family? How would his wife respond to the day to day horrors? What if scott had kids of various ages? How would they respond to a shrinking dad?

Any ideas on this topic would be very interesting. Who knows, we may be getting that remake after all and your comments might get to the director so share what youd like to see!

when i first read the plot it was so far out i thought it was a modern kind of flick, the transaction of him went quicker than i thought, i liked some of the ironic dialogue from the shrinking man: "i'm a big man i'm famous", the swedish translated title seem to focus on solely on his encounter with the house cat, movie looks absolutely loony, but it becomes so suspenseful with his adventure in the basement... i wish they had aired the spoof right afterwards, spoiler follows - after this whole story i wanted him to get hooked back with his wife at the end.

you bewitched me,
then you walked away,
didn't leave me with anything,
on this road long paved,
i keep walkin myself,
trying to find a way,
forever hooked on your spell.

I like happy endings so I would have him not get any smaller then the doll house part then they'd find a cure and he'd grow back to normal again
