Does anyone have any recommendations for good movies in which the characters try to get away with committing the "perfect murder" or any other "perfect crime" (bank heist, jewelry heist, art heist, etc.)? I am looking for some good "whodunnits" or "howcatchems" ... where the "perfect crime", of course, unravels before the viewer's eyes. Any suggestions? Thanks!
shareThe best of the best is Dial M For Murder with Ray Milland. He is so suave and so cool when he is planning the murder of his wife, Grace Kelly, that we wish he would get away with it. She is cheating with Robert Cummings and he knows it. Why would he not want to dispose of her, but not get his hands dirty, so he hires another man to do the deed. Milland should have been nominated for this role, he is wonderful. This was from a play, and then it was made again with Michael Douglas. However the new version was violent, where the original was not.
