Favorite Musical Sequence

I was wondering what everyone's favorite musical sequence in this film is. I have two: "Triplets" with Astaire, Nanette Fabray, and Jack Buchanan and the other is Astaire's beautiful pas de deux with Cyd Charisse to "Dancing in the Dark".

My favorite is Fred Astaire and Jack Buchanan in "I Guess I'll Have to Change My Plan." A very smooth routine for what is a dark story about falling for another man's wife.

steven torrey: what do you mean by that? If you are referring to the character played by Cyd Charisse, she was not married to her choreographer (played by James Mitchell)

Listen to the lyrics: "I guess I'll have to change my plan, / I should have realized there'd be another man! I overlooked that point completely / Until the big affair began. ... My feet are back upon the ground, / I've lost the one girl I found."

I have to go with "That's Entertainment".

I'm the kind of guy, when I move - watch my smoke. But I'm gonna need some good clothes though.

"Girl Hunt Ballet" had fantastic style in its setting. It contained a great atmosphere which came through the dancing and the colours used were fantasically expressive.

"I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not".

Louisiana Hayride was my all-time favorite. Everyone is talking about how "sexy" the Dancing in the Dark dance was. I guess it was ok but quite honestly, I didn't sense any "sexiness" in it.
