After reviewing season one, I'm now focusing on the pregnancy shows, which other than a few, were never faves. But because I rarely watch these, they, like the early season one shows I recently viewed, are playing super fresh.
Last night I watched "Pregnant Women are Unpredictable", which is actually a charming and amusing ep.
Didn't think you cared too much for the pregnancy episodes Gary! Glad you are enjoying them.
One of my favorites from this arc is "Lucy hires an English Tutor." Hans Conreid is an absolute scream in this one. I love the scene where he mistakenly thinks Fred (in his school boy outfit) is Ethel's son.
The answer Ricky gives him when he asks him where he acquired his unusual pronunciation, "I went to school in Cuba, what's your excuse?" always breaks me up.
The two I've always loved are the tutor ep and the the baby shower show. Both are staples in my ILL lineup.
The two I'm still not crazy about are "Lucy is Enciente" and "Lucy Goes to the Hospital" (Lucy is only in the first half of the latter, and her lasts scene before she goes in the Christmas ep).
Those episodes were gross.
