I'm not sure if anyone knows this, but since last month there is now a 24/7 I love Lucy channel on the smart tv app Pluto TV! Great quality episodes and I believe they're uncut. So great to have Lucy to turn to any hour of the day!

I used to watch the episodes on TV Land and other channels and they were merciless in cutting scenes. Ruined the pacing of the show. Also the quality of some of the prints was like watching the show underwater!
When I bought the DVDs, it was like watching a different show. Hope the Pluto episodes are just as good.
TV Land and other networks that play old shows like this all cut out scenes. But this gives them more commercial space and thats a huge plus for us consumers. We get to see all the new products and services advertised to us, unlike in years past when commercial time was at a minimum

share ....and so are you! Commercials are a modern day art form. Where else can we learn about pizza, fast food, candy bars and other assorted junk foods followed by commercials for diabetes, hypertension, fat loss pills and heart medication? LOL
Commercials are the main reason why I cancelled my cable and only watch DVDs. Commercials are a boon to DVD sales (at least for me).
